We are pleased to announce the call for the International Energy Policy Program (IEPP). 

Please read the details of the scholarship below carefully and apply within the designated period.

1. SNU-IEPP

SNU-IEPP is a full-time graduate program sponsored by the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment. The IEPP is launched to provide opportunities for international government officials or employees of public institutions in the energy sector in developing countries to purse Ph.D. and Master's degrees at SNU.

2. IEPP Application for Spring 2027

  1) E-mail Application : Monday, July 20, 2026, 10:00 ~ Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 17:00

  2) Submission of Recommendation Letters : Monday, July 20, 2026, 10:00 ~ Wednesday, August 5, 2026, 17:00

  3) Interview : August, 2026 (TBA)

  4) Preliminary Admission Decisions : Friday, October 16, 2026, after 17:00

  5) Final Admission Decisions : Friday, November 20, 2026, after 17:00

3. Important Notes

 - Applicants must submit the application via e-mail (iepp@snu.ac.kr) during the application period.

4. Scholarship Benefits (Master's - 2 years, Doctoral - 3 years)

- Full tuition fee

- Korean language training fee

- KRW 1,500,000 monthly stipend

- Dormitory Monthly fee

- A one-way airfar (economy class based, initial entry)

- Settlement allowance KRW 200,000

- Monthly national health insurance fee

- Other related expenses for IEPP activities
