I am delighted to introduce the International Energy Policy Program (IEPP-SNU) at Seoul National University. IEPP-SNU is a government-sponsored graduate degree program for governmnet officials from abroad in the field of energy and resources. IEPP-SNU offers a full scholarship sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), the Republic of Korea.

IEPP-SNU was launched in 2009. Since then, we have awarded full scholarships to a group of 85 government officials who were selected out of more than 220 applicants from all over the world. IEPP-SNU is open to all government officials as long as they are qualified and willing to share the vision of IEPP-SNU.

Energy and resources play an important role in a national economy and have great potential for development and prosperity. IEPP-SNU provides an education program on energy and resources policy and technology development. Also IEPP-SNU provides an environment for international cooperation activities for professionals and government officials.

Seoul National University, one of the most prestigious universities in Korea, is staffed with excellent faculty along with supporting staffs and facilities. I encourage you to be a part of IEPP legacy and go beyond your dream. I look forward to welcoming you to IEPP at Seoul National University!
